PIHKA collection is a Tampere-based footwear and bag brand, whose distinctive products and services are the result of three young female entrepreneurs working together and complementing each other with their own unique handcraft and design skills. The products are wholly designed and produced in Finland; the business is located in the charming old Kehräsaari factory complex in the center of Tampere. Handcrafting is used as much as possible in creating PIHKA collection products, and the all-Finnish subcontractors have been selected very carefully in order to use only the finest materials. PIHKA also organizes popular shoemaking and bag making courses, in which the participants can create their own personalized products using PIHKA designs. PIHKA collection is: Roosa Mattsson, Maisa Salonen, and Sofia Salmi.
NOUKI on Anna Reilinin ja Saara Naskalin vuonna 2015 perustama tamperelainen naistenvaatemerkki, joka suunnittelee laadukkaita, yhdisteltäviä käyttövaatteita. NOUKI-vaatteen tunnistaa selkeistä linjoista ja vahvoista kuoseista. NOUKI -malliston materiaaleja valittaessa painotetaan laatua, miellyttävää tuntua, helppohoitoisuutta sekä luonnon kuituja. Kaikki NOUKI-tuotteet suunnitellaan, kaavoitetaan, painetaan, leikataan ja ommellaan Suomessa.
Kraa Kraa Eyewear designs and manufactures eyewear. Kraa Kraa’s frames are a blend of open-minded design, modern craftmanship and uncompromised quality. Kraa Kraa’s vision of a good frame is represented in their collection of spectacle and sunglass frames. The frames are designed for everyday use and are highly customisable to suit your facial features as well as optical requirements. All of Kraa Kraa’s frames are handmade in Tampere, Finland.
MUKA VA – Pure Not Boring This ethical fashion label upgrades the basic elements of women wardrobe with high quality, natural materials, and sophisticated Nordic style. The designer Anna Mattelmäki combines her ideas of visual pleasure and sustainability in MUKA VA. The inspiration for hand-drawn prints comes from everyday life and nature around us. The collections are made in Finland, jerseys by Orneule & Tamsilk and sewing by Pirkko Niemi, Millimetri & Tamsilk. Hilja merino wool pullovers are knitted in Kutomo Holopainen. Founded in 2012, Uhana Design is a clothing company based in Tampere, Finland. Designers Mira Vanttaja and Hanna Virkamäki went to designer school together and soon realized, that by combining their strengths they could create something new and suprising. When Hanna and Mira work together, unique solutions are created. This is materialized in the collections, that make everyday more fun. Unique, relaxed clothes and accessories are made with seamless co-operation between Hanna and Mira. As Head of Design, the quality of the products, perfect fit and cut are of the utmost importance to Hanna.
